KOCHI: The Kalamassery police have arrested a 25-year-old woman for verbally abusing an autorickshaw driver and some local residents in an inebriated state.

The accused was identified as Rafeena Rafeeq. According to the police, the incident happened around 9 p.m. on Wednesday. The woman, settled in Qatar, was on a short visit to Kerala along with her family.

The police said Rafeena, under the influence of alcohol, had a fight with her husband, following which she hired an autorickshaw for Kalamassery.
