Two more arrested in gold smuggling case

The Special Investigation and Intelligence Branch sleuths probing the gold smuggling case through Cochin international Airport Limited on Tuesday arrested two more persons.

According to officials, the accused were former employees of the BWFS and have been working in Bangalore airport with another agency. The arrested were identified as Ansal K K, 24 of Aluva and Bibin, 25, of Kochi.

They were produced in the court and remanded in judicial custody for 14 days.

With this, the total number of arrests made in this connection has reached 25.
