Train schedules revised temporarily

Southern Railway will change the time schedule of trains operating on the Edappally-Ernakulam Town stretch on October 20, 24, 27, 31 and November 3 in connection with Kochi Metro’s civil works.

Thus, train No. 56389 Ernakulam-Kottayam Passenger leaving Ernakulam at 8.30 pm and train No. 56376 Ernakulam-Guruvayoor passenger leaving Ernakulam at 7.40 pm have been cancelled.

Train No. 16306 Kannur-Ernakulam Intercity Express will be partially cancelled between Aluva and Ernakulam Junction stations; Train. No. 56363 Nilambur-Ernakulam Passenger will be partially cancelled between Kalamassery and Ernakulam Junction stations.

Train No. 12624 Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Mail will have a late start by 30 minutes at 3.20 p.m. and the train will further get detained by 1 hour en-route. Train. No. 16188 Ernakulam-Karaikkal express will have a late start from Ernakulam Junction by 20 minutes at 10.30 p.m.

Train No. 12645 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Express on Saturdays and Train No 12643 Thiruvananthapuram-Nizamuddin Express on Tuesdays will be detained for 2 hours en-route. Train No.16336 Nagercoil-Gandhidham Express on Tuesdays and Train No. 16312 Kochuveli-Bikaner Express on Saturdays will be detained for 1 hour en-route. Train No.16316, Kochuveli-Bangalore Express and Train No. 22815 Bilaspur- Ernakulam Express on Tuesdays will be detained for 30 minutes en-route, says a Railway press release.
