The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation will open its Christmas festival season fair in the city on Sunday.
The State-level inauguration of the festival season outlets will be held in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will launch the fairs at 3.30 p.m. The fairs would be organised between December 10 and 24, said a press release from Supplyco here.
It said that special fairs would be held at Piravom, Koothattukulam and Mulamthuruthy between December 15 and 24. The fairs will be launched in association with the Supplyco supermarkets at these locations.
All of Supplyco’s supermarkets would have Christmas special fairs between December 15 and 24, the press release said.
Christmas cakes and greeting cards will be the major features of these fairs while there will be grand prizes for the shoppers. Those who buy products above Rs. 1,500 will be given Rs. 50 worth of Sabari brand products.
