Hibi Eden, MLA, will attend the World Summit Climate and Territories to be held in Lyon on July 1 and 2.
An official release issued here says the event is the principal gathering of sub-national and local governments and other non-State actors ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP21.
Mr. Eden will present papers on themes such as climate change and low carbon economy. He says the summit will present an opportunity to discuss the threat of rise in sea level being faced by cities such as Kochi.
