Meeting on cancer centre

Work on converting the identified space at the Government Medical College, Ernakulam, into an out-patient department for the Kochi Cancer Centre will start within a week .

The decision was taken at a meeting held on Wednesday at the Medical College presided over by Asha Thomas, special officer for Cancer Centre. It was also decided that the staff pattern will be prepared on the directions of Paul Sebastian, director, the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram.

Dr. V. P. Gangadharan, Special Officer (technical) will provide the final draft of the design and staff pattern for the cancer centre.
