Medical camp held

Over 7,000 people took part in Soukhyam, a super-specialty medical camp organised by Hibi Eden, MLA, at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium on Sunday.

Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala inaugurated the camp and lauded the initiative in making specialty treatment accessible to the poor.

Twenty-seven hospitals in the district participated in the camp that brought in about 350 doctors, 450 nurses and 100 technicians to take care of the needs of the people. Blood test, ECG, pulmonary function testing were among the diagnostic tools available at the camp.
