KISPL to revive Kochi operations

October 06, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:39 am IST - KOCHI:

Close on the heels of regaining the right to conduct medical screening of job aspirants to Kuwait, Khadamat Integrated Solutions Pvt Ltd (KISPL) is set to resume its operations in Kochi.

Official sources said the agency is slated to open its Kochi office on Tuesday itself. KISPL had stopped operations in Kochi on September 22 after candidates protested against charging of excess service fee.

Though the agency had also closed down its Hyderabad centre along with Kochi, it is unlikely to resume operations as of now.

A circular issued by the Consulate General, Kuwait Embassy had earlier stated that the agency would resume discharging medical services, the fee for which is fixed at Rs.12,000.

Meanwhile, the manpower exporters associations have decided to move to the High Court challenging the fee collected by the KISPL.
