Kayaking, paddling along Muziris heritage corridor

Paddlers of international repute will participate in the kayaking event along the Muziris-Kochi route on Saturday and Sunday.

Paddlers of international repute will participate in the kayaking event along the Muziris-Kochi route on Saturday and Sunday.

Muziris Paddle, a kayaking and stand-up-paddling (SUP) event targeting domestic and international tourists, adventure seekers and paddling enthusiasts, will be held along the Muziris-Kochi route on Saturday and Sunday.

Paddlers of international repute will participate in the event in which children and non-swimmers too can participate.

It will begin on Saturday morning at Kottapuram Boat Jetty in Kodungalloor and conclude on Sunday evening on Bolghatty Island here. Shilpika Gautam, world record holder for paddling the entire Ganga river, international paddler Jim Bush from Australia; Cedric Reynard, renowned SUP trainer from Switzerland, actor Revati and managing director of Muziris Heritage Project P.M. Noushad would be among the attendees.

Muziris Paddle is organised by Jellyfish Watersports in association with the Muziris Heritage Project of Kerala Tourism.
