World Homeopathy Day was observed here on Sunday, under the banner of the AYUSH Department of Homeopathy and National Ayush Mission.
A medical camp and exhibition held in this connection was inaugurated by Hibi Eden, MP. Efforts are being made to raise the Government Homeopathy Hospital to international standards, by improving the quality of service and patient care. The Kochi Corporaton and the Ernakulam District Panchayat have offered help in this regard. Different schemes to promote the system of medicine are finding sound patronage, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, T.J. Vinod, MLA, said people were increasingly depending on homeopathy to treat ailments like diabetes, cancer, and infertility.
