The combine of people against the Sarfaesi Act has demanded that the government must immediately intervene to withdraw the “anti-people” Act and prevent the attachment of property of the victims of “fraudulent” loan transactions.

A statement issued by the Sarfaesi Bank Japthi Vanchanaikkethiraya Samara Samiti and the Blade Bank Japthi Virudha Samiti said that victims of “fraudulent” loan transactions, who had lost their land and homes, should not be victimised .

About 20 families are now on a protest action before the district collectorate, Kakkanadu, since August 10 demanding government action and inquiry into the fraudulent bank transactions.
