The Smart City Mission envisages the preparation of a Smart City Proposal (SCP) for Kochi City, according to a presentation prepared by the project consultants.

The presentation could not be made as Corporation Council session was disrupted as soon as it began.

Citizen consultations form the foundation of the proposals. The discussions in ward sabhas would be taken into account while forming the project proposals. The citizen-engagement initiatives would include ward sabha meetings in all the divisions, interactions with city stakeholders, including residents, traders, professionals, interaction with vulnerable sections of the society, including socially, economically and physically deprived citizens.
