Poster design contest
A poster design contest for school students will be held at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Tripunithura, on October 2 as part of the Food Safety Department’s efforts to create awareness among students on food safety under the government’s Mission 676 programme. The contests will be held separately for upper primary and high school students. Registration of participants with the certification of school authorities will be accepted till 4 p.m. on September 28.
Cultural fete
A 12-hour-long cultural fete will be staged at Layam Ground, Tripunithura, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday as part of attempts to fight modern day challenges to the freedom of thought.
