Corporation move opposed

The State government should restrain the Kochi corporation from handing over its land to the CPI (M), demanded A.C. Jose, former Mayor.

The civic body had proposed to handover a few holdings in the city to some trusts in the name of constructing memorials for a few leaders. The Kochi corporation authorities were attempting to handover the land to the CPI (M) under the guise of setting up memorials, he said.
