15 injured in accident

: At least 15 persons were injured, one seriously, when a KSRTC bus rammed a couple of vehicles parked in front of a workshop at Muringoor near Koratty along the National Highway on Monday.

The accident took place around 9 a.m. when the bus driver lost control over the vehicle, which veered off the road and hit a school bus, lorry and a car. The bus was proceeding from Mavelikkara to Guruvayur. The bus driver suffered serious injuries in the mishap and has been admitted to a hospital in Thrissur. Eye witness accounts suggest that he had a seizure before losing control over the vehicle. In addition to the bus driver, passengers of the bus suffered minor injuries.
