The YSR Congress has demanded the Anti-Corruption Bureau officials to widen its net to investigate the cash-for-vote case as TDP leadership seems to be the kingpin of the deal. The party MLA A. Revanth Reddy is only a puppet, it opined.

Quick to grab the opportunity, YSR Congress spokesperson Ambati Rambabu at a press conference here on Monday said: “It is apparent that the strings are being pulled by the TDP Boss N. Chandrababu Naidu to distribute the ill-gotten wealth while Mr. Revanth Reddy was only the front man. There was every need to investigate the origin of the corruption the person and source from where the direction and money had come from which needs an investigation on a widened canvas.”

He charged that TDP leaders were resorting to amassing wealth through Pattiseema and other commercial ventures in Andhra Pradesh only to funnel them in Telangana State for ulterior motives. The big money that is being poured in for the sake of one MLC seat is mind-boggling and is against the moral and democratic spirit.

“We demand the ACB to widen its net and go into the details of the source of the huge money that has flown in and the person who has given Mr.Revanth Reddy the direction. The reference of Boss points towards Chandrababu Naidu, who has the history of handling shady deals.” he said.
