A 24-year-old private employee was crushed to death, after a TSRTC bus hit the bike he was riding in Uppal on Monday.

The accident occurred a day after a young bike-borne couple from Peerzadiguda were killed after a TSRTC bus hit their bike at Narapally in Medipally on Sunday.

Uppal police said the victim was identified as V Satish of Jinkalabavi colony in Saroornagar.

The accident took place around 9 a.m. opposite the Survey of India when the victim was proceeding to his office at Begumpet.

“The city bus on Hayathnagar-Secunderabad route hit Satish’s bike from behind. As a result, he fell and came under the rear wheels of the bus,” police said.

A case was registered against bus driver Anjaiah (38), who was later taken into custody.
