UDA wins key posts in UoH student elections

: The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) won the key posts of president and general secretary apart from cultural secretary in the University of Hyderabad (UoH) Students Union elections while the ABVP bagged two posts and the SFI one.

Vincent of UDA was elected president with a majority of over 200 votes while B. Daniel from the same alliance won as general secretary with a lead of over 100 votes. Suma Lavanya of UDA was elected cultural secretary. The vice-president post went to Anil G.R. of SFI while the ABVP candidates Pranav K. was chosen joint secretary and Ruthik Chowla sports secretary. Three candidates were also elected for the Committee Against Sexual Harassment (CASH). The ABVP candidates finished second in all the key posts. The TRS students wing that fought as a separate group could not win even a single post. The UDA consists of Ambedkar Students Association, Bahujan Students Front and NSUI .
