The nursing department of Care Hospitals is hosting a two-day nursing conclave that will focus on discussing challenges faced by the nursing profession like high attrition rates, lack of due recognition and their positioning in the healthcare system.

The conclave will also provide an opportunity to discuss the future prospects of nursing as a profession, a press release from the hospitals said.

Chairman, Care Hospitals, B. Somaraju said that nursing had the ability to transform healthcare.

The profession is trying and difficult and it’s not easy to remove pain and boost the spirit of the patients.

“The nurse can radiate energy into patients through her simple smile and make them feel good,” Dr. Somaraju said.

Vice-chairman, Care Hospitals, Krishna Reddy said that nurses were the brand ambassadors for hospitality.

The conclave also witnessed valuable inputs on challenges that nurses face, hospital design, functioning, occupational safety, stress management and many other relevant contents for nurses.
