Two inter-State burglars arrested

The Rachakonda police on Saturday arrested two members of an inter-State house burglary gang and recovered 94 tolas of gold ornaments, two mobile phones and a two-wheeler, worth ₹ 32 lakh from them.

The accused were identified as Bharat Bhushan Bansal (52) of Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh and Mathura Prasad (42) of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh.

After noticing a series of housebreaking offences, three teams were formed to probe and arrest the culprits, ,” Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M. Bhagwat said. The teams analysed the video footages of the surveillance cameras in the area and found that a vehicle was moving suspiciously. “ They were apprehended near Bade Masjid in old Hayathnagar,” he said.

The duo were involved in 21 housebreaking offences in Hyderabad.
