Two held for house burglary

Two youngsters, including a teenager, were arrested by the Chandrayangutta police in connection with two house burglary cases reported in the area. The police recovered 27 tolas of gold ornaments and 46 tolas of silver articles from their possession.

The accused Abood-Bin-Haji (22), of Kishan Bagh and Ali Abbas (18), an autorickshaw driver from Begumpet are ‘notorious’ offenders, said Additional DCP (South) Mohammed Ghouse Mohiuddin.

Earlier, Haji was involved in 12 cases in Hyderabad and Cyberabad commissionerate, while Abbas Ali was also a previous offender who had started committing offences since he was a juvenile, he said.

“They used to target the houses in isolated places,” Mr Mohiuddin said.
