Two farmers electrocuted in Nizamabad district

Two farmers Chinta Naresh (20) and Bandi Sainath (25) were electrocuted and two others Ganesh and Deepak sustained burn injuries at Fathenagar village in Armoor mandal of Nizamabad district when they were removing electric motors from pipelines on their agricultural field on Wednesday afternoon.

The condition of Ganesh was said to be serious and shifted to district headquarters hospital here. Naresh and Sainath were declared brought dead at a private hospital at Armoor. Sainath was married recently and survived by wife.

The mishap occurred as they did not observe the 11 kv electric wires connected to the agriculture pumpset when they removed it and were testing it for fixing it to a water tank.

They came in contact with the live wires leading to the accident. Earlier, they removed the motor from its original place. The police rushed to the spot and registered a case.
