The Board of Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) has been reconstituted with the inclusion of senior officials from various government departments.
The State government has gone for a larger board in view of the mega projects, such as Pharma City, NIMZ and Mega Textile Park, that the TSIIC is handling, a government order (GO) issued here on Wednesday said.
Besides, the Chairman and Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Corporation, other members of the reconstituted Board are Special Chief Secretaries to the Revenue and Energy Departments, Principal Secretaries to Finance, and Industries and Commerce Departments, Member Secretary of the Telangana State Pollution Control Board and Commissioner of Industries.
The TSIIC Board hitherto had three members – the Chairman, VC and MD and Secretary to the Industries Department.
The reconstitution was made following a request from the Corporation to appoint a nominee director in place of the previous Industries Secretary Arvind Kumar.
The official had resigned from the Board after being transferred from the Industries Department.
