Tribal girls top TS PECET

Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions secured State-level ranks in Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET, 2018) with K. Madhuritha of TTWRJC Bhadrachalam securing 1st rank, Payam Chandrakala achieved 4th rank and Anusha of TTWRJC Ankampalem, 9th rank.

Hailing from tribal communities, these three students participated in a number of national-level competitions in athletics and won medals. TTWREI Secretary R. S. Praveen Kumar congratulated the top rankers and said, the girls have proved once again that they are not inferior to anyone if opportunities are provided. The entire credit goes to the government of Telangana for unwavering support to the educational cause of the poorest of the poor tribal children, he said.
