Seventy five master trainers exhibited their combat skills and tactics adopted during different operations at RBVRR Telangana State Police Academy here on Tuesday.

They were members of the Training of Trainers (TOT) second batch, who would go to the districts and train the constables and other staff members in combat skills and other tactics.

They were imparted training in the 60-day-long course on house intervention, weapon disarming and retention techniques. “This training helps us to effectively tackle situations like the attack by terrorists on policemen at Suryapet bus-stand,” the trainers said at the valedictory programme.

Senior IPS officer Anil Kumar and Hyderabad range IGP Stephen Ravindra were present.
