City Police Commissioner has notified traffic diversions under Marredpally police station limits due to construction of a road at Tukaram Gate from July 18 to January 17 next year.
At Tukaram Railway Gate, North Lalaguda Bus stop side road will be completely closed and traffic diverted towards Malkajgiri and Mettuguda. In case of traffic coming from Jyothi Nagar side, two and three wheelers will be allowed towards Addagutta but heavy vehicles and buses diverted towards Uttam Nagar , Safilguda Gate, AOC and Shenoy Nursing home.
For traffic coming from Adagutta towards Tukaram Gate side, two and three wheelers can pass through the existing RUB at Jyothi Nagar. The RTC buses and heavy vehicles will be diverted at Shenoy Nursing Home Junction towards AOC Centre and Safilguda Gate. Citizens have been requested to take the alternate routes and diversions to reach their destination and co-operate with the traffic police, a press release said.
