Lieutenant General Yenduru Venkata Krishna Mohan has taken charge as Commandant of Defence Services College, Wellington, Tamil Nadu. He is the senior-most serving Lieutenant General among three services (Army, Navy and Air Force) from the two Telugu States. Earlier, he was the General Officer Commanding of a corps on western borders. An alumnus of Korukonda Sainik School, Andhra Pradesh, he was commissioned into 7th Battalion of 11th Gorkha Rifles on 19 December 1981.
