‘Teach For Change’ launched

Teach For Change (TFO), a non-governmental organisation (NGO), which will help government school students by providing them better training through its volunteer network, was launched here on Tuesday.

Covering 10 schools in the first phase, the initiative of Passionate Foundation was launched by actress and producer, Lakshmi Manchu. The first phase of TFO would cover the government schools at Bowenpally, Kukatpally, Jubilee Hills, Ameerpet, D. K. Road, Yousufguda, Hi-tech City, Banjara Hills, Secunderabad, and Madhapur.

Ms. Lakshmi said three meritorious students would be chosen from the government institutions under the NGO and sent to the residential schools in Tirupathi. TFO CEO, Chaitanya M.R.S.K., said, “70 per cent of students in the country study in government schools so our aim is to help in teaching and methodology,” he said.
