Students of HPS shine

One of the oldest city schools established in 1923 as a Jagirdar’s College, the Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet fared well in ICSE and ISC exams, securing a pass rate of 99.55% and 100% respectively.

Arushi Taparia secured 93.6% in ISC, making her the school topper in science stream. In commerce, Vaishnavi Mamidipudi secured 93.2%. Of 88 students, 86.36% scored over 75% marks in ISC.

In ICSE, Vithesh Reddy Adala got 96.33%. Nine others scored 100% in computer applications while another secured 100% marks in math. Of 221 HPS students, who wrote the exam, 78.73% got over 75% marks in ICSE.

The school established by the same managing trust in Kadapa saw 100% pass rate in ICSE for the 11th year in a row. Among toppers were R. Shashank Anirudh (92.8%), J. Mahitanjali (92.2%) and B. Mahalakshmi (92%).
