Sai Mitra Constructions won the Hyderabad round of the 16th edition of TH Business Line Cerebration Quiz qualifying it to participate in the national finals in Mumbai on September 22.

The team comprising B. Naveen Kumar and Ajit Kuncha won the final in a tie-breaker round on Sunday. The quiz was conducted by Runal Dahiwade. The top six teams — Sai Mitra Constructions, RBI Hyderabad, Amazon India, APBHS, Osmania University and Adieu ED — were the participants in the final round.

The regional round, with 20 questions, began with a preliminary test in which 41 teams competed. The finalists were given a total of eight questions each to score a maximum of 80 points with a negative mark of 10 for wrong answers.

The RBI team comprising Krishna Kant Prasad and Suvendu Pati and Amazon India team comprising K. Arun and Sunil Rao finished second and third, respectively.

The TH BusinessLine Cerebration Quiz is presented by Union Bank of India and powered by BSNL. The other partners for the event included: NewsX (television partner); QuizWorks (quizzing partner); K. Circle (Hyderabad Association partner) and Woot Factor (event manager).

The AGM of the Union Bank of India, R. Rangaiah and the AGM of BSNL (Medchal), Hyderabad, D. Koundilya Kumar gave away the prizes to the winners and runners up.
