As part of the ongoing Swachh Survekshan programme, the Municipal Corporation of Karimnagar installed ready-made toilet across the town on Wednesday to achieve open defecation free goals.

The toilets were put up at busy places, including Ambedkar Stadium, Collectorate Road, Kothirampur locality, Bhagathnagar and Court Water Tank area, with temporary water arrangements being provided at each facility.

There are also plans to provide round-the-clock running water facilities.

Mayor S. Ravinder Singh had inspected the toilets in the town and informed municipal authorities to write signboards for men and women. Appealing to residents to use the public toilets, he said more such facilities would come up in the town soon.
