Ceremonial parade by top officers and ranks at the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) of the Indian Army and wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial of 1EME Centre marked the 76th Raising Year on Monday.
Wreaths were laid by Lieutenant General Paramjit Singh, Commandant of Military College of EME and Colonel Commandant of Corps of EME, Brigadier Sandeep Bhalla, Commandant of 1EME Centre, veteran officers and other ranks. Eight Veer Naris were also honoured on this occasion.
Later, a ceremonial parade was commanded by Brigadier Sandeep Bhalla at Centre parade ground in which eight contingents consisting of 12 officers, 25 junior commissioned officers, and 404 other ranks participated, a release said.
