A post-graduation student of Nizam College was found dead at her Chilkanagar home under Uppal police station here on Saturday.
According to the police, the victim, G Soumya (21), returned home from college around 3.30 p.m. and spoke to her father, who was at work, over the phone. Around 5 p.m, her family members and neighbours found her hanging from a ceiling fan.
Police were yet to ascertain the reason for the extreme step. No note was left behind by the victim.
