Major General N. Srinivas Rao, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA), stressed the need for cordial civil and military relations here on Monday. Mr. Rao expressed his views at a meeting with Chief Secretary S P Singh.
Mr. Rao also thanked the Chief Secretary for extending cooperation for the multi-agency exercise, Pralaya Sahayam, conducted on the banks of Hussainsagar in Hyderabad recently. At the meeting, the officers decided that regular meetings would be held at the Chief Secretary level to ensure speedy implementation of various decisions.
It was also decided that a formal Civil Military Liaison Conference (CMLC) would be held on a convenient date.
