May-end deadline for LRS

May 01, 2018 11:33 pm | Updated 11:33 pm IST - HYDERABAD

The State government, through an order on Tuesday, has yet again extended the deadline for the disposal of pending applications under Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) upto May 31, subject to certain conditions.

This is in view of the large number of shortfall documents submitted by the applicants pending scrutiny, the order copy said.

Further, it has come to the notice of the government that some applications are pending for want of NOC from Revenue authorities, district collectors, irrigation department, or the requirement of documents about change of land use, and exchange of applications between HMDA and GHMC owing to jurisdictional issues.

The extension of deadline will be applicable only where NOC is required from district collector or Irrigation department, where change of land use is involved and is pending with relevant authorities, where applicants have submitted shortfall documents, and where the applications have been transferred at the fag end of the scheme from GHMC to HMDA or vice-versa.
