Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will launch Kamadhenu programme at Tirupati on Wednesday aimed to induct 150 units of milch animals per BMCU (Bulk Milk Cooling Unit).

All the 64 functional BMCUs are targeted in the first phase of the programme being taken up with an outlay of Rs.65-crore to induct 10,000 milch animals.

According to a press release from the Chief Minister's Office here on Monday, the scheme would be implemented through joint liability groups, consisting of four to 10 members.
