Bojja Chetan Reddy from Andhra Pradesh bagged 100 percentile and is one among the 15 aspirants in the country to have achieved the feat in the JEE Main exam, the results of which were announced on Saturday.
A statement from the Sri Chaitanya Educational institutions said Chetan Reddy is their student and added Dishank Jindal of Chandigarh, a student from the North India region was from their institutions, and had achieved a similar feat. “They have credited Sri Chaitanya Institutions and its teachers for their performance,” the statement added.
About nine lakh students across India had appeared for the JEE exam, the first step for admission to the prestigious IITs and NITs.
