The BJP has advised the Congress to “introspect” on losing their sitting seat of Huzurnagar to the ruling TRS party as they were winning from the constituency for the last 40 years.
The Congress party State president's wife losing the election with over 43,000 vote margin to TRS party is a “loss of face” for the party in Telangana, said official spokesperson K. Krishna Saagar Rao on Thursday.
The BJP leader stated that the constituency ranks on “top of the weakest constituency list for BJP” and had received very few votes in the last election too.
The party accepted the voters mandate in the bypoll and looked forward to working in Huzurnagar constituency to strengthen BJP further, Mr. Krishna Saagar Rao added.
