As part of creating digitally-literate Telangana, the Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has plans to train digital leaders, who will in turn tour villages to train people on using technology for betterment of their lives. One such programme will be conducted in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), popularly known as IIIT-Basar, on October 4 where a one-day workshop will be conducted for students, IT aspirants and unemployed youth.
“The event consists of sessions on soft skills like communication, time management and goal settings by personality development trainer C. Veerender, apart from technical sessions on emerging technologies like digital media, cyber security and cloud computing,” said TITA founder and president, Sundeep Kumar Makthala.
IIIT-Basar Vice-Chancellor S. Satyanarayana said the initiative will help students mould themselves into digital leaders as they can adopt some villages and teach people the digital usage in their daily life.
