Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao called upon the youth to focus on career-building.

Addressing a gathering of youth after inaugurating a free training camp for constable selection at the district headquarters on Thursday, Mr. Harish Rao said that these training camps were arranged at Siddipet, Gajwel and Husnabad with an aim to provide needed guidance to the youth for the selection into constable posts, as about 20,000 vacancies were to be filled shortly.

CP Joyal Devis said that 70 days of training is enough for a person to get selected for the constable’s post provided the candidate focuses on the subject. He said that the selection in the Department is completely transparent and only the meritorious will get a chance. He said that the candidates were offered the best training.

Joint Collector Padmakar, MLA S. Ramalinga Reddy also participated in the programme.
