Counselling for GITAM Admission Test (GAT)-2018 through online sliding method started on Wednesday and will continue till May 19.
Day one saw counselling of SC, ST and PH candidates, and for the first 6,000 rank holders.
GITAM-Hyderabad Pro Vice-Chancellor N. Siva Prasad has handed over the provisional allotment orders to two best rankers — Yaswanth Mulakala, who has opted for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and Nadimpalli Harini, who has joined B.Tech course in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The counselling is underway at seven centres — at its Hyderabad campus, Hyderabad city, Visakhapatnam campus, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Bengaluru and Bengaluru city.
Counselling will be held for 6,001 to 13,000 rank holders on Thursday, 13,001 to 20,000 on Friday and 20,001 to 26,000 on Saturday.
Candidates can turn up at any of the seven centres along with their counselling call letters and all essential documents.
