Bombay Jayashri and Abhishek Raghuram promise to enthrall music lovers as they perform ‘Yatra, a Journey Within’ as part of The Hindu November Fest at Ravindra Bharathi on November 23 at 7.30 p.m.

Drawing inspiration from their own training, influences and experiences, classical music maestros, the collaborative performance is a sensitively curated homage to the musical traditions of India. Traversing seamlessly across many musical forms, the performance is inclusive in its premise and philosophy.

Sharing space with the vocalists are artistes who literally own their instruments — tabla, mridangam, keys, flute and sarangi — and together, they will add a fascinating dimension to the musical narrative allowing audiences to appreciate the beauty of individuality and the magic of a collaboration.

The ensemble includes Bombay Jayashri Ramnath (vocals), Abhishek Raghuram (vocals), Ravichandra Kulur (flute), Murad Ali (sarangi), Praveen D Rao (keyboard/harmonium) Anantha R Krishnan (mridangam) and Ojas Adhiya (tabla).

The fest would also feature Double Edge: Featuring Staccato & IndoSoul (Nov. 24) and Cinema Soul - Rekha Bhardwaj Live (Nov. 25).

Tickets can be booked on www.thehindu.com/ticket2018 and www.bookmyshow.com; season pass is priced at ₹1200 and ₹700; daily tickets at ₹600, ₹350 and ₹200 (balcony); and reserved ones at ₹1000, ₹600 and ₹400 (balcony) only on bookmyshow.com. The fest is powered by HDFC Bank with Apollo Hospitals, Nippon Paint and Joy Alukkas as associate sponsor; Double Edge – Indian Terrain as concert sponsor; Fever FM ad radio partner; ID Food as ‘Fresh Food’ partner - ID Food and IAds and Events on board as event manager.
