FTAPCCI office-bearers elected

Chartered accountant Arun Luharuka and industrialist Karunendra S.Jasti were on Thursday elected as president and senior vice-president respectively of the Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce (FTAPCCI) for 2018-19.

Stating that they were elected at the 101st annual general meeting, a release from FTAPCCI said Mr. Luharuka is senior partner of Luharuka & Associates, Hyderabad.

A member of FTAPCCI for the last 25 years, he has been chairman of various expert committees of the trade and industry body, including that on direct taxes, indirect taxes, information technology, tourism and urban infrastructure.

He also holds a law degree and has authored articles on company law, income tax, accounting and audit.

Mr. Jasti holds a degree in BE Mechanical from Visakhapatnam and served as a FTAPCCI managing committee member from 2005 to 2012 and from 2014 till date.

He established Stypack Group, which is into manufacturing of expanded polystyrene (thermocole) sheets and mouldings for insulation. Mr. Jasti is also into port operations and large format digital printing., a release said.
