Immigration authorities on Tuesday caught five persons, who flew into RGIA in Shamshabad from Riyadh, after finding them carrying tampered passports. The arrested passengers were Himanshu Singh of Delhi, Karippassery Basheer Thanseer and Sulaiman Shameer of Kerala and Abdul Javir of Madhura and Afzal Ahmed of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.

They were found possessing passports with the names Mohd. Musi, Yamauddin, Mohd. Nazeem, Bara Burki and Shaik Asmath, the police said. They went to Riyadh separately for jobs. As their employers detained their passports, they approached an agent there who provided them original passports of other Indians. The accused substituted photos of the passports with theirs and flew to India.
