Fifty 2BHK houses inaugurated at Bibipur

Nizamabad rural constituency will soon get water for one lakh acres

Housing, Roads and Buildings Minister V. Prashanth Reddy said Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao designed the construction of two bedroom (2BHK) houses for the poor and homeless to enhance their respect in the society and also for their comfortable living. He said the government aims to provide 2BHK houses to all eligible households free of cost in a phased manner.

Addressing the gathering of beneficiaries and villagers after inaugurating 50 2BHK houses built at a cost of ₹4.35 crore at Bibipur tribal hamlet in Dichpally mandal on Friday, he said that Nizamabad rural constituency would get water for one lakh acres once Package-21 of Kaleswaram project is complete. The package works are going on at a fast pace, he said.

Mr. Reddy called upon the elected public representatives to make efforts to prevail upon farmers in the constituency over laying of a two-meter pipeline through their lands as part of the package work. He assured local MLA Bajireddy Govardhan that he would sanction necessary roads in the constituency.

Mr. Govardhan said that he is happy as for the first 2BHK houses were built and distributed to beneficiaries in the constituency. Over 1,700 houses are in different stages, he said, and complimented contractor, Mohammed, for coming forward to build them.

He thanked all MPP presidents, ZPTC and MPTC members and sarpanches for their support to him in the implementation of government schemes and projects.

Collector M. Ram Mohan Rao, RDO Venkateswarlu and DCO Simhachalam, ZPTC Indira, MPP Bhoomanna and sarpanch Laxmibai were present.
