Ethnic beverage company Goli Soda on Wednesday announced its plans to expand operations by launching 10 new outlets in the city.
According to its Chief Executive Officer Ravi Teja Jallepalli, Goli Soda has four operational outlets — Kondapur, Gachibowli, Madhapur and Banjara Hills. He said that the planned expansion is expected to reach major drive-ins and around 90 restaurants. A launch of its products is planned in Bengaluru and Chennai.
Announcing its plans to scale up, Mr. Jallepalli said that Goli Soda currently sells 2,000 bottles per day and the aim is to hit the 12,000 per day mark.
Taking questions from the media, he said that the company plant in Madhapur has a production capacity of 10,000 bottles per shift and that there exists potential for the company to grow further.
Mr. Jallepalli said that the ethnic beverage market in the country is estimated at between $ 200 million and $ 250 million with only 1 percent constituting the organised sector.
Apart from ethnic beverages such as coconut water, the company’s offerings also include enriched milk beverages.
