Ease of Doing Business initiative in the GHMC

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is planning to provide better services as part of Ease of Doing Business (EODB) initiative for the convenience of the citizens. A review meeting was held on Wednesday in which Commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy along with senior officials discussed the need for introducing new initiatives in the Information Technology wing of the GHMC.

While interacting with the officials the Commissioner said that the attendance of sanitation workers is being taken up through biometric system and garbage vehicles with GPS system have already been introduced deriving good results.

With regard to property tax integration with IGRS data base, Aadhar seeding and mobile numbers collection for all the property tax index numbers with details on maps, and trade license with digital certificate implementation with online download option, are being taken care for effective implementation, he said.

The implementation of BRS and LRS digital signing process was the other issue that was discussed at the meeting.
