Dana Kishore reaches finals of IWA awards

Nominations from around 130 nations

The International Water Association (IWA) has considered the managing director of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) M. Dana Kishore a potential awardee for IWA Development Awards from India, for the nomination submitted on the recent innovations of Water leadership and Conservation (WaLC) Alliance, a release from the Board said.

Mr. Dana Kishore has competed with nominations from around more than 130 countries to clear the second phase and be selected for finals, the statement said.

The IWA secretariat has congratulated the MD of the HMWS&SB, and asked him to submit the final presentation.

WaLC is an initiative focused on reduction, reuse and recharge of water through community engagement initiatives. The IWA is a London-based professional association working for sustainable water management worldwide connecting water professionals to find solutions to the world water challenges.
