Coromandel International Q2 net declines

Coromandel International Ltd has for the quarter ended September 30 reported a drop in its consolidated net profit after tax at Rs.173.47 crore compared to the Rs.183 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.

The net income on a consolidated basis, of the fertilizer and crop protection and specialty nutrient products manufacturer, at Rs. 3,564.42 crore was higher in comparison to Rs.3,466.04 crore in the year ago period.

Elected chairman

The meeting of the Board of Directors on Tuesday elected A.Vellayan as the chairman with immediate effect. Uday Chander Khanna, who stepped down as the chairman, would continue as an independent director on the Board.
