Rachakonda Police arrested a member of the notorious Chadi gang last week, adding to the list of arrests made in August. The accused was brought on a transit warrant on Tuesday.
Khaju Mavoji, 30, a resident of Dahod in Gujarat, was apprehended from his home town by a team of Rachakonda Police. Mavoji is allegedly one of the members of the gang that struck at various parts of the city, robbing homes and fleeing. The members of the gang struck wearing briefs, vests and smeared in oil to prevent getting caught.
Rachakonda Police caught four members of the gang in August and made a recovery of booty worth ₹ 13.5 lakh.
